Membership
The Foundation is managed by a Board of Trustees, Chaired by Björn Nordberg, former President of the European Golf Association. Other Trustees are:

Antonio Bozzi (Greens Section, Italian Golf Federation)

Angel Gallardo (Vice Chairman, European Tour)

Tom Garvey (Former Deputy Director General [Environment], European Commission)

Lodewijk Klootwijk (European Golf Course Owners Association)

Gordon McKillop (Sports Turf Research Institute)

Jaime Ortiz Patino (President of Valderrama Golf Club),

Paul Rooney (Liverpool Hope University)

Jo Schatten (Committee Member, European Golf Association)

Colin Wood (Scottish Golf Environment Group)

The legal and financial administration of the Foundation is undertaken by a separate not for profit Company Limited by Guarantee, Golf Environment Europe Limited. This is run by a smaller Board of Directors, and Chaired by Colin Wood. Golf Environment Europe's Chief Executive is Jonathan Smith, a specialist in golf environment issues for over 10 years.
